Artist, World Builder and Teacher

Dylan K Bailey is an Canadian Visual Artist of Mi'kmaq heritage. He completed his B.FA at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador in 2018. Bailey's art practice consists primarily of digital imaging, painting and drawing. In his work, he depicts fantastical worlds that he has conjured up through a mix of imagination and real-world elements. He also works with elements such as scale, emotion and more to create otherworldly scenes. He aims to create stories and depict the universe in unique ways through his artworks. He is inspired by his dreams, nature, science, music, and traditional culture. Bailey was born and raised in Corner Brook, NL, and currently lives and works in Northern Manitoba.
