“Nova Distillation”

[2023, Acrylic on Canvas]

One of the biggest artworks I have ever created. I wanted to evoke the 4 colours of the medicine wheel of indigenous culture, and the elements. I also branched out, testing new techniques that I haven’t done before in acrylic. This artwork took me months to create, off and on working on it for 6 months.

“The Blood and Breath of Earth”

[2022, Acrylic on Canvas]

“Cracked Sun” [2020, Acrylic on Canvas]

Inspired by the way I have seen the sun depicted in traditional Mi’kmaq art.

“Landing Site” [2018, Acrylic on Canvas]

Part 2 of a 3 part series of surreal landscape paintings focusing on the sea, land and sky. Done as my last project for art school.

“A Pipe Under the Sea”
